Each week, we share a rundown from around the state of the top “Milk Moves” of the week as nominated by our member schools, coaches, media partners, and fans. No matter the sport, we want to share the accomplishments of NYSPHSAA student-athletes!
Boys Basketball: Adam Enders (Belfast) led his team with 54 points in an overtime win against Avoca, setting a new school single game scoring record in the process.
Boys Ice Hockey: Casey Hooper (Massena) racked up 45 saves in a big 4-3 win over Victor.
Boys Swimming & Diving: Ethan McCormac (East Hampton) finished the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:42.86, hitting a state-qualifying time and setting the best time in the state so far this season.
Wrestling: Anthony Rasmussen (South Jefferson/Sandy Creek) pinned his opponent 24 seconds into the 182lb match to help his team earn a victory over South Lewis.
Girls Basketball: Julia Reggio (White Plains) scored a career-high 34 points, including 21 in the fourth quarter, in a win over Mount Vernon.
Boys Indoor Track & Field: Ke O’Brien Smith (Freeport) finished the 600m in 1:21.38, setting a new personal record and the best time in the state so far this season.
Girls Indoor Track & Field: Kaeli Thompson (Warwick Valley) set a new Section IX record with a 13’ 3.5” pole vault height at the Malloy-Stanner Games.
