Whiteface will be available for practice on Monday, 2/25. Training courses and course maintenance are included in the contract for the meet.

Lift Tickets

Three day lift tickets are $90. Schools or sections will be billed from the NYSPHSAA office for $45 of the cost. Five coaches and 2 section coordinators will receive passes to the race. Payment for all other lift passes must be made directly with NYSEF at Whiteface. Contact Debbie Ketchell for arrangements.

Lodging

The sections may choose to house their teams at the Crowne Plaza. The NYSPHSAA has reserved rooms for each section. Schools or sections are responsible for Intersectional expenses, and will be billed by the hotel.

Dinner

A state meet dinner for athletes and coaches will be held on Tuesday 2/26, at approximately 6 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza. All sections athletes are invited to attend. Due to space restrictions the dinner will be for athletes and coaches only. Each section is asked to make reservations with the state coordinator, Dennis O’Brien. Billing for the banquet will go through the NYSPHSAA. The reservations deadline is February 21 and only # of individuals attending is required. Send the reservations and billing information to Dennis O’Brien. Cost of the dinner will be $20.

Tickets will be distributed for the banquet. To attend, an athlete or coach must have a ticket with complete information filled in.

Awards

Awards for each event will given as follows: Tuesday events will be awarded at the dinner. Wednesday events, overall champions, and sportsmanship will be awarded in the afternoon at Whiteface Ski Area. This will done at the conclusion of the alpine giant slalom event.

Support Personnel

Each section may have persons interested in providing support for the event. Please contact Steve Jackson with those names by 2/21/08.

Alpine entry sheet must be returned to Dennis O’Brien by e-mail (obrien@infoblvd.net) or fax (607.324.3150).

Entries are due by Wednesday, 2/20/08

Seeding numbers are bib #s. Substitutions will be made until 8 p.m. on Monday, February 27, at the Inn on the Lake.
